POSITION SUMMARY
The CDL Testing Site Administrative Assistant is responsible for the efficient and compliant operations of the CDL testing facility. This includes the efficient management of the testing schedule by assigning students to examiners, ensuring the quick and accurate management of administrative and testing documentation, and ensuring students are prepared for testing. Additionally, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for communicating with external stakeholders, such as client schools, regarding the invoicing and scheduling of external students, and regulatory agencies.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
- Schedules appointments for internal and external CDL testing students
- Manages testing schedule for CDL Examiner staff
- Maintains facility records and documents, such as inspection reports, employee certifications, and other forms
- Signs in students and ensures documentation is complete, valid, and accurate
- Files documents and test results electronically or physically according to policy
- Manages communication with regulatory agencies, including Department of Transportation, Department of Education
- Inputs CDL Test results using CSTIMS
- Tracks and records Key Performance Indicators for Examiner staff
- Generate invoices for services to be provided
- Collects and tracks payments from clients
- Manages student expectations and experience, including hearing and resolving complaints
- Other Duties as assigned
KEY COMPETENCIES

- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge administrative and office procedures and systems
- Familiarity with the standards and requirements for Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Testing
- Understanding of audit processes to ensure compliance with standards and identify deficiencies
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency with google suite, CSTIMS, and microsoft office
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 5 years of relevant experience required
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Commercial Drivers License Preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing, speaking, walking, driving, writing, and/or sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds at a time
- Perform work with OSHA required PPE; Including COVID19 PPE
