Network Pharmacy - NSS is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team in Knoxville, TN.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the management team and assuming bookkeeping, payroll, and reception responsibilities in an accurate, organized, and timely manner.

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the management team and assuming bookkeeping, payroll, and reception responsibilities in an accurate, organized, and timely manner.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- May be responsible for ordering and maintaining adequate inventory of approved office, break room, and bathroom supplies.
- Distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail.
- Payroll Responsibilities
- Maintain payroll records and supporting documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
- Expertly utilize time clock software.
- Process bi-weekly payroll in an accurate and timely manner.
- Manage invoices (and supporting documentation) in an accurate and timely manner.
- May maintain petty cash.
- May organize, complete and distribute monthly Pharmacy Newsletter.
- May maintain up-to-date mailing lists.
- Type and word process documents, draft correspondence.
- Assist management with intercompany communications.
- Schedule appointments/meetings for management, as requested by management.
- Prepare agendas and minutes for meetings.
- Schedule travel/hotel accommodations, as requested by management.
- Copy and file documents.
- Maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner. which promotes good working relationships with centers, partners, and supervisors.
- Additional duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
- The employee is occasionally required to reach, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, or walk intermittently.
- This is a sedentary position which may require sitting at computer up to seven (7) hours per day.
- The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this role.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong attention to detail
- Independent, self-motivator
- Strong ability to multi-task
- Accurate and strong typing skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with others (written and oral)
- Working knowledge of business English, spelling, and punctuation
- Ability and willingness to work cooperatively with others
- Ability to accurately maintain complex records and files
- High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information
- Knowledge of the policies, regulations, procedures, and functions of Network Pharmacy Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
- Assist management with research and preparation for meetings and projects
- High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of two years with clerical or administrative experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Character and integrity must be of the highest standards
- Ability to communicate very well both orally and written
- Strong attention to detail skills
- Excellent PC skills to include EXCEL and Word
