Administrative Assistant Intern - Columbia, MD at Avid Technology Professionals

POSITION SUMMARY:

The administrative assistant intern will provide administrative and clerical support to front office staff, with a focus on assisting the CEO. Strong communication skills and strong typing skills preferred.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Administrative Support:

• General clerical support

• Files paper copies of documents.

• Scan and electronically file documents.

• Data Entry

• Letter writing

• Update excel spreadsheets

• Faxing, organizing supplies and office environment

• Take meeting notes

• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION/QUALIFCATIONS:

• Two years of college education, preferably English or business major with 3.0 GPA

• Proficient in MS Office and Windows

• Willing to work full time in summer.
