Position Title: Administrative Assistant, Intermediate - (SECRET CLEARANCE)

Position Start:  April 22, 2024 (Pending Contract Award)

Position Summary: MILVETS is currently seeking to fill a full time Administrative Assistant, Intermediate - (SECRET CLEARANCE) position. The Administrative Assistant, Intermediate will be supporting the government at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

Responsibilities:

• Coordination and documentation involving travel, meetings and conferences.
• Provide administrative support essential for the systems engineering and architecture development processes, including preparation, review, compliance monitoring, progress evaluation, schedule compliance, and technical assessments. As well as performs a wide variety of administrative services. 
• Develops a variety of reports, monthly progress/status reports and produces invoices to the Government by ACRN, Functional Area, System Name, etc. 
• Ability to handle normal non-technical and technical office administrative tasks. 
• Demonstrate ability to type highly specialized technical reports rapidly and accurately. 
• Trained, or familiar with, the operation of computer terminals and/or work processing center equipment. 
• Monitor and track obligations and expenditures for assigned contract tasks, schedules, ceilings and reports. Resolves billing/invoice discrepancies.

Qualifications: High School Degree

Experience:  A minimum of one (1) year of administrative support experience managing calendars, scheduling meetings and events, preparing DTS authorizations and providing miscellaneous operations support.

Clearance:   Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an Active United States Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
