EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Associate degree (AA) preferred; to include emphasis in word processing/administrative support; general office function knowledge or equivalent combination of education and experience).
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Strong organizational and administrative skills are essential.
Ability to manage several projects at one time.
Organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to problem-solve and address administrative issues before they arise.
Professional and diplomatic demeanor with people, including interacting with children in a nurturing way with a positive and patient demeanor.
Ability to type 35-40 wpm and advanced knowledge of Microsoft suite software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail in work duties and communication.
Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others.
Bilingual a plus.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply logic or scientific thinking principles to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism in its most difficult phases. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
Valid California Driver's License with excellent driving record. Use of a personal car may be required; mileage reimbursement. Must have proof of insurance.
