Poly-America is currently seeking a Department Assistant. A successful candidate must be able to adjust to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
Department Assistants at Poly-America are responsible for preparing reports, heavy data entry using MS excel and AS400, screening calls in support of multiple department managers at the company, and possibly assisting with projects. The role may involve additional responsibilities and opportunities as they become necessary and/or are assigned by management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform various support services which may include preparing report and screening calls
- Responsible for administrative duties directly supporting a department
- Analyze reports and submit findings to management
- Heavy data entry using MS Excel and AS-400
- Coordinating travel arrangements
- Take additional responsibilities as required or assigned
Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivots, vlookups) is preferred
- 1 to 3 years experience supporting a department in an administrative role
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and reprioritize as shifting business needs require
- Strong analytical skills
Proactive, self-motivated individuals capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Professionally handling phone calls and administrative duties .
