Contract
Location: Boston, MA

Must Haves:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3+ years work experience
• Experience with Word and Excel

Preferred:

• Faulty affairs, academic planning or higher education experience

Job Summary/Description: an esteemed higher education institution is looking for a detail oriented coordinator to participate in the recruiting, hiring, promotion and appointment of faculty and staff. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Review faculty paperwork pertaining to appointments, re-appointments, non-appointments and retirement and resolve any discrepancies with applications prior to approval
• Organize orientation for new members
• Organize employee files and forms, prepare offer documents, faculty reports, marketing documents, orientation handouts and other clerical forms
• Maintain webpages
• Provide scheduling and logistical support for meetings
• Support purchasing for faculty including computers, books, equipment etc.
• Other support activities as necessary
