Administrative Assistant - Roch Capital

The Administrative Assistant, reporting directly to an assigned member of management, provides general administrative support to the departments and will ensure that all administrative functions are processed and completed in a timely and efficient manner.  

Essential Functions:

• Support the assigned member of management and the department in all daily activities.
• Answer the telephone with the utmost professionalism, urgency, screening, and prioritizing calls.          
• Provide backup support for the Reception Desk, as needed. Coordinate with other administrative staff to ensure proper coverage for assigned departments.
• Distribute mail and fax correspondence.
• Prepare and maintain departmental reports as directed by Department Head.                .                              
• Track Associates’ shifts and attendance records in conjunction with Department’s supervisors and managers.                                             
• Inventory maintenance and draft purchase requisitions.                                                                     
• Schedule departmental meetings
• Reconcile Travel and Expense forms and Corporate Card Statements as assigned.      
• Draft routine correspondence and memoranda.                   
• Maintain office equipment (fax, copier, etc.).                                       
• Record and file maintenance of all Associates within the department.

Education & Experience/Abilities:

• High School Diploma required. 
• A.A. Degree or equivalent from an accredited college preferred. 
• Six (6) months to one (1) year of related experience is preferred. 
• Must have strong general PC knowledge with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly and professionally in accordance with departmental policies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, prioritize assignments, and follow up with colleagues to ensure the completion of assigned tasks.
• Ability to demonstrate a thorough understanding of administrative-related functions.
