About the Job
Performs full clerical, administrative and general office duties involving transcription, typing, record and file maintenance, mail distribution and telephone reception. Provides secretarial services to a middle to upper level management position of a major department. Level based upon the size and complexity of the organizational unit. This level requires an understanding of the content of the supervisor’s job and method of operation. This implies knowledge of department and University operations and procedures.
Provides secretarial services to the Manager. Provides receptionist support for administrators; screen telephone calls, letters and/ore visitors, answer routine questions and furnish information, when possible. Schedules appointments and coordinates arrangements for meetings and conferences. Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital.
Extensive business school training (2 years) and/or some college
Basic Computer Skills
