Administrative Assistant Entry level - Spherion

Spherion Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant/Data Entry Specialist to support daily office operations and maintain accurate records. This role is perfect for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities:
Perform accurate data entry tasks, including entering, updating, and verifying information in databases and spreadsheets. Manage and organize electronic and physical files to ensure easy access and security of sensitive information. Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining office supplies. Generate reports, spreadsheets, and other documentation as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and address ad-hoc tasks as assigned. Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Familiarity with industry-specific software Experience in handling and organizing large data sets. Knowledge of office equipment operations, such as printers, scanners, and phone systems. Background in customer service or client interaction. Basic bookkeeping or accounting knowledge. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage tight deadlines effectively. Knowledge of confidentiality and data protection protocols.

High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree preferred). Experience: Previous administrative or data entry experience (1-2 years preferred). Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with data management systems. Strong typing speed and accuracy. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
