We seek an experienced administrative assistant to provide administrative, technical, and programmatic support at the DEVCOM Chemical Biological Center (CBC) to support the Research and Operations Directorate's missions, functions, and operations.
Duties:
- Assist the Branch Chief, Principal Investigators and other team members with budget, travel and programmatic inquiries
- Proactively manage developing solutions by providing support to senior administration and management personnel.
- Provide financial data and record-keeping
- Perform Administrative tasks in GFEBS (General Fund Enterprise Business System) and performs timekeeping duties in ATAAPS (Automated Time Attendance and Production System)
- Establish a record of scheduling and prepare meeting arrangements
- Maintain meeting minute captures/follow-up
- Daily general office support including daily logs and receiving and distribution of inventory
Required Experience:
- 2 years experience of relevant work experience, particularly in the area of DoD engineering or programmatic support
- Experience with GFEBS (General Fund Enterprise Business System)
- Experience with providing financial data and record-keeping
- Experience with ATAAPS (Automated Time Attendance and Production System)
- Established record of scheduling and preparing meeting arrangements
- Record keeping and meeting minute captures/follow-up
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office suite software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
- Ability to use or learn DTS (Defense Travel System)
Required Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
Desired Experience Includes:
- Advanced experience with Army-specific policies and requirements
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and record-keeping
- Excellent presentation skills
- Advanced experience with GFEBS (General Fund Enterprise Business System)
- Advanced experience with ATAAPS (Automated Time Attendance and Production System)
- Knowledge of Army government purchase card procurement processes.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity ofcustomer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Required Skills
