Wilkes University invites applicants for an Administrative Assistant to Advancement position in the Office of Advancement, which includes Development, Operations, and Alumni & Constituent Engagement. The position, reporting directly to the Vice President for Advancement, will play a vital role in supporting the Advancement team during the University's upcoming comprehensive campaign.
The successful candidate will provide essential support across the Advancement Division, including assisting the Vice President for Advancement with daily operations. Key responsibilities include managing the VP's calendar, scheduling meetings and preparing materials, processing payments to vendors, ordering office supplies, drafting letters to donors, greeting and welcoming visitors, organizing reports, and executing other tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the division. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and have a strong understanding of office management and best practices. A bachelor's degree is required. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
