Administrative Assistant - DETROIT TRAINING CENTER, INC

The Detroit Training Center is looking for someone who assist with office tasks as required to help the team achieve our mission of putting on excellent workforce development programs with high placement rates.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm 
• Full-Time (In-person)

Job Duties:

• Assisting with projects from CEO, Director of Recruitment / Onboarding and Bookkeeper
• Supporting outreach events
• Assist with Student File Creation, Management, and Storage, helping our Career Counselor and other staff
• Maintain the front desk area and classrooms at Detroit Training Center with cleanliness.
• Enter all contacts into Salesforce, a sales database that will allow us to remind potential students about upcoming classes and let them know about new things we have going on at DTC
• Helping any students that have questions or concerns
• Data Entry
• Assist instructors with preparing for class and record attendance
• Send out promotional materials and information requested by everyone who calls, emails, or registers online

Job Requirements:

• Highschool Diploma or GED
• Proficient with computers
• Detail-oriented
• Able to Multitask

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Required)
• Administrative/Office: 3 years (Required)

Wage: $17.00/hr

Hours: 40 per week
