Our team is growing, and we are hiring a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX LK Dental Lab in Danville, CA for an Administrative Assistant
The regular hours for this position are from 8:00 a.m
to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position: + Verbally communicate with all levels of staff, leadership and customers maintaining a positive demeanor and nurturing teamwork
+ Assist the GM with management of the lab, including preparation of reports related to sales, labor, productivity, material usage and budget performance
+ Assist in HR related items such as hiring/onboarding, benefits and other team member needs as they arise
+ Follow budget and compare to monthly laboratory income statement, research discrepancies
Review preliminary financial statements and discuss with lab accountant
Consult with Lab President to devise action plans to achieve desired financial results
+ Ensure laboratory compliance with OSHA regulations, including timely accident reporting and assurance that mandatory safety measures are being followed as well as manage the building/equipment maintenance and cleaning service
+ All other duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities Required: + Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English + Ability to effectively present information to team members and management team + Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, and legal documents
+ Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
+ Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from team members, customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
+ Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, as well as the ability to apply concepts of general business math
+ Intermediate skill sets in Microsoft Office products + Accuracy and attention to detail is imperative + Must maintain organization to successfully and timely complete the variety of tasks associated with this position
+ Strong ability to read, listens, comprehend, retain and execute on written and verbal instructions Minimum Education and Experience Required: + High School diploma or equivalent required
+ Bachelor or Associate Degree in Accounting or related degree preferred, + Three years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used: + Office Equipment (Computer, Copier, Paper Cutter, etc.) Physical Requirements: + Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel and/or reach + Ability to read and comprehend written communications + Vision capabilities: Depth perception, attention to detail + Push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 25 pounds + Ability to effectively communicate information
