Cogir Senior Living (formerly Cadence Living) is hiring a friendly, organized, and diligent Administrative Assistant for our premier retirement community, Studio Royale Senior Living.
Our Administrative Assistant will support the community's Business Office Director in managing the business office function in the community, including communicating with residents, families, and employees regarding resident billing and employee onboarding. They will support all accounting (AP and AR) and payroll functions for the community and the front desk concierge team. Responsibilities include streamlining administrative procedures, inventory control, responding to calls and emails, and completing all administrative tasks as needed.

What will you do as an Administrative Assistant?
- Assist the Business Office Director with all administrative responsibilities as assigned.
- Assist in producing and managing accounts receivable.
- Ensure correct coding of accounts payables and processes accordingly.
- Assist in residents' contracts, execution, and renewals.
- Assist the sales team with inquiries, tours, move-ins, and other tasks as needed.
- Assist in training and/or counseling all front desk concierges.
- Regular support with filing and data entry.
- Ordering office supplies and monitoring stock inventory.
- Manage all resident and employee HR files.
- Maintain all pet records for the community and ensure they comply with all state requirements.
- Assist in month-end closing procedures.
- Participates in the manager-on-duty program.
If you have these qualifications, we'd love to chat:
- Positive team player attitude and love working with people!
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. An Associate degree or higher is preferred.
- At least 2 years of previous experience in an administrative or office management role is required.
- Working knowledge of general accounting, billing, collections, and expense management.
- Good computer skills, including an understanding of Word, Excel, and Outlook, are required.
- High degree of accuracy in all assignments; ability to manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
- Experience in creating and maintaining efficient filing and data storage systems (paper and electronic).
- Previous experience working in senior living is a plus!
