Purpose of Position: Seeking highly organized and proactive administrative support. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and follow-up skills and be adept at creating, managing, and updating various Excel spreadsheets.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Primary daily point of contact to the Director of Housing Navigation regarding Statewide Housing Navigation
- In conjunction with the Director establish effective communication procedures both internally and externally to effectively manage internal operations and external partnerships.
- Successfully foster landlord and partnering providers relationships while working as part of the Statewide Housing Navigation Program.
- Respond to landlord inquiries received from phone, email or in-person.
- Review housing application packets to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Create, maintain, and enter data into excel spreadsheets and generates regular reports to track information related to landlords, housing units, client applications, and payments.
- Liaison with landlords, staff, and other providers.
- Upholds and advocates for the agencys mission and utilizes the values of safety, respect, and effectiveness in making decisions
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Associates Degree or advanced certification preferred, extensive experience may substitute for degree
- 3 years experience as an Administrative Assistant or related position
- Additional experience in property management or human services is preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Office, and Excel
- Proficiency in using relevant software and technology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively
- Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to track progress
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities
- Can work effectively independently as well as a member of a team.
