Administrative Assistant - Covenant Family Solutions

The Administrative Assistant is an integral part of our clinical team as the first face (or voice) that individuals encounter when they reach out to CFS for their mental health needs. This team member is responsible for handling confidential and time sensitive information and working with patient files. The position requires compassion, empathy, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Essential Functions:

• Schedules appointments
• Answer phones
• Provide compassionate customer service
• Closing Duties
• Checks insurances
• Transfers phone as appropriate
• Takes and enters payments
• Scanning
• Faxes/Faxing
• Performs other duties as required

Position Qualifications:

Customer service skills, professionalism, understanding of mental health, and willing to do other duties as assigned.

The successful individual will demonstrate honesty/integrity, customer service orientation, accountability, tenacity, effective communication skills (oral & written), and adaptability. For this position individuals must also be: Detail oriented, capable of multi-tasking, demonstrate effective time management, and work well under pressure; be ethical, responsible, self-confident, and tactful.

Education & Experience:

• High school graduate or equivalent; business college certificate preferred.
• Successful applicant needs to have a minimum of two years administrative experience. Proficiency in all Microsoft Office 365 products and experience with web-based applications is required.

Other Requirements:

Position requires administering Company sensitive/confidential information with the utmost discretion and attention to detail. Ability to effectively and diplomatically communicate verbally and in writing is required. Must be able to establish and maintain professional working relationships with all Covenant employees. Be able to work a flexible work schedule including evenings; no holidays or weekends required.

Hours:

Monday through Thursday from 12-5 PM
