JOB SUMMARY
This position supports the University Land Grant Mission by providing administrative support to Communications, Conferencing and Technology Area under Cooperative Extension Department. Support includes providing financial support through processing requisition, check payments and ensuring vendors are paid. Additionally, this position keeps accurate financial records for the Print Shop including processing payments requests from departments.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the preparation of financial reports for the Cooperative Extension Print Shop.
- Check in Cooperative Extension Print Shop Requests and contacts clients when work is completed.
- Prepare budget journals/transfer for the Cooperative Extension Print Shop
- Processes requisition and check payments for the department.
- Review of invoice/documentation and processing of vendor payments in a timely manner
- Serve as Time & Absence Approver for Department
- Functions as a primary point of contact and liaison for department offices and staff members.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, organize work, and balance time demands with minimal oversight
- Overnight travel may be required
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related area with three or more years of experience.
- Computing skills including the ability to utilize Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
