Columbus Green Cabs is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our high-traffic call center, garage, and training operations here in Columbus, OH!

The right candidate will have:

• High School Diploma (or GED)
• Valid Driver’s License- required
• Bachelor’s Degree- preferred but not required
• Minimum 2 years in similar role; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Communication Skills
• Computer Skills
• Organizational Skills

What you’ll be doing:

• Communicates with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate, or explain information, take orders, and address complaints.
• Compiles, copies, sorts, and files records of office activities, business transactions, and other activities. 
• Performs basic bookkeeping, banking transactions, and payroll information including entering hours into the timesheet, verifying totals, looking up available PTO hours, etc.
• Trains other staff members to perform work activities such as using computer applications.
• Schedules safety training for field employees, managers, and other office employees. 
• Assists new hires with onboarding and orientation activities, including filling out paperwork, answering questions about pay and benefits, etc.
• Manages insurance coverage for vehicles, equipment, and facilities.
• Schedules regular vehicle maintenance and repairs when necessary.
• Collects and submits information for job bids including COI’s and other certificates and proof of coverage.
• Creates and posts company information and updates to social media channels and websites.
• Plans and coordinates company events such as meetings, luncheons, holiday parties, etc.
