About the Role:

Our client in Columbia, MD, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support their dynamic team. This role is 100% on site at their location in Columbia, Maryland. As the Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for handling a variety of administrative tasks, including managing schedules, handling phone inquiries, maintaining records, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to the team, including managing calendars and scheduling appointments
• Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and inquiries
• Organize and maintain office filing systems, both physical and digital
• Prepare and proofread documents, reports, and correspondence
• Coordinate meetings and events, ensuring all logistics are arranged
• Assist with data entry and managing databases
• Order and maintain office supplies
• Assist with other office duties as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree preferred)
• 1-2 years of administrative experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accuracy
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
