About the Job
We are seeking a highly organized, self motivated individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to assist with administrative duties including but not limited to:
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite / Microsoft 365
- Payroll experience:
- Experience with iSolved Time & Attendance is a plus
- Application Tracking System (ATS) knowledge with job posting and recruiting
- Position requires excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Prioritizing in this position is of the upmost importance
- HIPPA compliance
- Answer phones and provide customer service
- Maintain government funding for individuals
- Sort, distribute and file mail
- Record and audit accounts payable and receivable
- Maintain office files and records
- Take, type and distribute meeting minutes
- Compile data, prepare reports
- Maintain office space and light equipment upkeep
- Order supplies
Position Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Minimum possession of an Associates degree and two years of advance Administrative Assistant work. Educational requirement may be substituted with experience on a year for year basis.
- Ability to be bonded per insurance regulations.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to be insured by the agency's insurance company
- Proficient in software programs (word processing, spreadsheet, time tracking, payroll, ATS, HRMS, indeed)

The position requires the ability to hold CPR/1st Aid cards agency will train. A person accepting the position must be computer proficient with a firm understanding of Microsoft suites, have past experience with HR software, preferably experience with Therap, and preferably Relias training program. The expectation is the applicant will be able to work their regularly scheduled hours and have the flexibility to work additional hours outside the schedule when needed to meet the needs of the agency. This position requires an individual that has experience with DDS systems in CT, has handled DDS re-determinations/ entitlement process, and a familiarity with the rep-payee process for social security.
