SUMMARY

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Provide administrative support for efficient operation of the office.
• Professionally communicate via phone, e-mail, mail, and in-person with employees, clients and the general public.
• Gather data and create a variety of status and financial reports.
• Scan documents and maintain electronic filing systems.
• Take stock and order office supplies.
• Assist with scheduling of conference rooms and various meetings.
• Organize special company-wide events.
• Assist HR Lead with job postings and HR related projects.
• Assist with new hire onboarding including employee badging and access requests.
• Assist Contracts Lead with contractual documentation.
• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

SKILLS

• Candidate must have excellent organizational and verbal / written communication skills, with the ability to recognize grammatical and formatting errors in documents. Attention to detail is very important
• Must be able to complete assignments under tight deadlines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), MS Teams, and Adobe Acrobat. A Writing test and Excel test will be administered as part of the interview process
• Ability to handle company proprietary and confidential information appropriately.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an institution regionally accredited by one of the following:
  • Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE)
  • Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU)
  • Higher Learning Commission (HLC)
  • New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE)
  • Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission of Colleges (SACSCOC),
  • Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) Senior College University Commission (WSCUC)
• We will verify your transcript and diploma with your college as part of the application process. This is a firm requirement.

EXPERIENCE

• Five (5) years of administrative support experience in a fast-paced environment with a preference for DoD industry related experience.

CLEARANCE

• Ability to obtain a security clearance, if required.
• A background check including degree verification and a post offer drug screen will also be required.

LOCATION

• The work location is Charleston, SC, with 0-5% travel expected.

SCHEDULE

• Hybrid position with some remote work depending on office coverage needs. In-office work will be approximately 2-3 days per week.
• Variable schedule position (Approximately 20 hours per week)

COMPENSATION

• Hourly rate dependent on level of experience.
