Hiring range for this position is $23/hour to $30/hour. Pay rate is dependent on applicable professional experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Patient Coordination: Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and assist with patient inquiries in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the healthcare team, including radiologists, nurses, and technologists. This includes managing calendars, preparing correspondence, and organizing meetings.
- Medical Documentation: Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
- Billing and Insurance: Assist patients with billing inquiries, verify insurance coverage, and process payments as necessary.
- Patient Education: Distribute educational materials and resources to patients and their families regarding breast health, procedures, and treatments.
- Facility Coordination: Coordinate the use of examination rooms and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for patient appointments.
- Data Entry and Reporting: Enter patient information into electronic health records (EHR) systems accurately and generate reports as needed.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality, compassion, and professionalism.
- Collaborative: Works effectively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Adaptable: Flexible in adjusting to changing priorities and patient needs.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Associates degree is preferred.
- Minimum of two years of administrative/executive assistant experience is required,
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in a breast health center or similar facility is preferred.
Pay Range:
$22.42 - $31.38

PTO and Personal Time accruals are pro-rated by FTE/hours worked. Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked.
