Job Summary
The Administrative Assistant has a working knowledge of company policies regarding general functions of the administrative department. This includes practicing effective customer relations and performing all functions using organizational and priority setting skills. Serving as receptionist, this position is responsible for effectively communicating with customers/employees on the telephone and in person. This individual reports to the Executive Assistant of the President and the CFO of Cox Branson. In addition, this individual provides clerical support to the Senior Leader Team (SLT) and to the executive assistants and other staff as requested.
Job Requirements
Education
- Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience
- Required: Experience in a healthcare, office, or comparable setting
- Preferred: 2 years’ office experience
Skills
- Excellent Telephone Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Provide general support to visitors
- Able to sit extended periods, with intermittent standing and walking (Responsible for covering the reception desk and area)
- Detail oriented
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, able to use help option to learn new functions
- Able to conduct internet searches for various topics
- Project management as requested
- Prioritize responsibilities and seek advice when necessary
- Order office supplies and maintain General knowledge of office machinery – Scanner, laminator, copier/fax, etc.
