About the Job
WinnCompanies is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team at BJ Wright Court Apartments, a 272-unit residential community located in Chicago, IL.
In this role, you will assist with daily administrative procedures and special projects. Please note that the pay range for this position is $22.00 to $26.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide office support, including: maintaining files, ordering office supplies, handling incoming and outgoing mail, and facilitating overnight shipping.
- Assist with property operations, including: creating check requests, filing paid invoices, and distributing resident requests appropriately.
- Handle incoming and outgoing calls.
- Manage all aspects of front desk duties.
- Update property management team on existing or potential problems.
- Complete special projects as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Less than 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Excellent organizational and recordkeeping skills.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Superb attention to detail.
- Ability to exercise good judgment and apply initiative.
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in property management industry.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
