Riverside Overview:Riverside Research is an independent National Security Nonprofit dedicated to research and development in the national interest. We provide high-end technical services, research and development, and prototype solutions to some of the country’s most challenging technical problems. All Riverside Research opportunities require U.S. Citizenship. Position Overview:
Provides analytical and specialized administrative support to relieve executive and Operations managers of complex details and advanced administrative duties. Analyzes problems, determines approach, compiles and analyzes data, and prepares reports/recommendations. Coordinates activities between departments and outside parties. Contacts company personnel at all organizational levels to gather information and prepare reports. Work is generally of a critical or confidential nature. Assignments may be found in various functional areas.
Responsibilities:- Originally author and/or consolidate team inputs to complete briefings, activity reports, and corporate taskers
- May administer or provide high level support for various projects, contracts, implementation of procedures, and/or any specialized functions
- Collaborate with technical team to understand the procurement requirements and manage and execute the procurement lifecycle
- Track and report contract actions, deliverables, and suspense’s
- Maintain IT data bases (IT licenses) for tracking purposes
- Manage requested quotes from multiple vendors
- Maintain capital spreadsheets for IT and assist for OIC IRADs
- Create goods receipts in Costpoint on a biweekly basis
- Maintain/update databases and member accesses
- Help prepare metrics and slides for weekly meetings, financial reviews, operation reviews, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- A minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, 3 years with a Master's degree, a PhD without experience, or equivalent work experience is typically required for an employee at this level.
- Demonstrated strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple, concurrent tasks, with minimal supervision
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Impeccable writing, spelling, grammar, and proofreading skills
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
