K2D Strategies is a growing fundraising agency that holistically approaches direct response through a channel-agnostic lens. The Administrative Assistant will support our team and our clients in being more efficient and effective by providing administrative support in operations and office coordination, meeting and travel, human resources and benefits administration, and communications, and bookkeeping/reporting.

Primary Responsibilities
This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of the executive team and members of the larger staff team. It involves a variety of administrative tasks that require a high level of organization and attention to detail.
· Schedule meetings and set up conference calls, webinars, and presentations, reserve conference rooms, manage meeting set up, and clean up.
· Organize large-scale team meetings (some travel may be required) including travel arrangements for the team, daily agendas, meal planning, coordinating team-based events, etc. This includes an off-site annual retreat.
· Track and manage state registration process in partnership with our external registration counsel – this includes contract filing and tracking.
· Track and order equipment, anticipate equipment replacement needs, and coordinate IT support as needed.
· Arrange travel (flights, hotel, car service) and process expenses.
· Manage industry sponsorships, conference registrations, and track team attendance at industry events.
· Assist with onboarding new team members including ordering equipment, benefits review and set up, travel arrangements as needed and meet and greet during onsite training.
· Handle incoming and outgoing mail including depositing checks and processing mail
· Track and prepare expense reports.
· Track and prepare monthly staff time reporting.
· Organize annual client/partner appreciation mailing including confirming master recipient list, addresses, as well as packing and shipping items.
· Track and manage team and client birthdays and team anniversaries including circulating cards and purchasing gifts
· Keep office space and storage organized
Position Requirements
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who takes initiative and is eager to tackle projects in a collaborative environment with varying priorities. This position is a minimum of 3 days onsite at our Arlington, VA office so candidates must be local to the DC metro area. The ideal schedule would be 9am-1pm, Monday-Thursday with flexibility on days in office.
Other Qualifications
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required
· Demonstrated problem solving abilities
· Outstanding organizational skills
· Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
· Strong attention to detail
· Strong communication skills in both written and oral with the ability to effectively present information, respond and follow-up on questions and inquiries from clients and colleagues

This part-time position pays $28/hour. Daily breakfast, snacks, and beverages provided onsite and we will reimburse $50/month for mobile phone.
