Administrative Assistant - Bowhead / UIC Technical Services

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (OSDJT):

Bowhead seeks a Administrative Assistant to support the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Joint Test and Evaluation (JTE&E), Joint Program Office (JPO) supporting Joint/Joint Agency, Combatant Command, and Service joint tests and quick reaction tests.

• Manages the Task Management System (TMS).
• Maintains the schedule and calendar of events.
• Ensures the proper management of test knowledge and information.
• Ensures compliance with travel orders and transportation instructions, processes travel orders and travel vouchers through the Defense Travel System.
• Coordinates with OSD, and Service staffs in arranging for meetings and conferences with military and civilian officials.
• Establishes and maintains files, serve as the focal point for most administrative requirements.

• Five (5+) years’ of experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Power Point.
• Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated skills in prioritization and multi-tasking.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level.  US Citizenship is a requirement for Top Secret clearance at this location.
