Administrative Assistant - Business and Commercial Litigation
Location: Albany, NY office (100% onsite)
Direct Hire Position!
Salary: $50,000 - $56,000 starting salary!
Job Overview: Law office in Albany, NY is looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant to support multiple attorneys in business/commercial litigation, energy, and corporate law. The ideal candidate will have legal admin experience, great communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of legal administrative assistant experience (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s degree preferred)
- Experience in litigation (required)
- Strong written and verbal communication, with excellent grammar and spelling
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Excellent client service and listening skills
- Prepare and format legal documents like resolutions, contracts, briefs, and leases
- Draft, edit, and finalize written communications
- Manage phone calls, messages, and emails for attorneys, clients, and staff
- Track and manage court deadlines
- Handle mail distribution and file management
- Coordinate travel for attorneys and clients (flights, hotels, car rentals)
- Schedule meetings, conferences, and appointments
- Organize and maintain firm files and ensure proper storage
