located in Juneau, Alaska.
What You Will Be Doing:
Start your administrative journey with us at the newly established Department of Family and Community Services (DFCS)! You will provide direct support to our Assistant Commissioner in areas such as calendar scheduling, greeting customers, and data research. You will also engage in tasks relating to finance, human resources, office and property management, basic procurement, travel arrangement, and office supply inventory.
You will perform tasks independently, prioritize work assignments, and demonstrate initiative for identifying needed improvements in the operation of the administrative functions while coordinating with other offices, divisions, and teams.

Who We Are Looking For:
Our ideal candidate will be proficient in the following knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs):
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Excellent organizational skills, particularly of information stored in electronic and paper formats.
- Demonstrated communications skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize workload.
