Work Setting skills Preferred: Home Health, Hospice, telephonic, previous charge experience
Case Management/Utilization Review skills required: Admission Criteria, Benefits Eligibility, Care coordination, Discharge Planning, Needs Assessment/ Order DME, Plan of Care, Pre-Cert Review, Prior Authorizations, Worker’s comp case management
Regulatory Skills Required: CMS: Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Department of Health, HIPAA (The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), The Joint Commission/ Core Measure/National Safety Goals
Regulatory Skills Preferred: Worker’s Compensation
Special Requirements: Must have experience with discharge planning, obtaining facility choices, sending referrals, issuing IMM and other Medicare letters
