Position Overview:
As the Administrative Assistant to the CFO, you will play a crucial role in managing daily administrative tasks, facilitating communication, and ensuring the CFO’s schedule runs efficiently. This position requires excellent organizational skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the CFO’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Prepare and organize financial reports, presentations, and other documents for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of meeting agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
- Coordinate communication between the CFO and various departments, ensuring timely responses to inquiries.
- Maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical, ensuring documents are organized and easily accessible.
- Process expense reports and assist with budget tracking and financial documentation.
- Conduct research and compile data to support financial analysis and reporting.
- Support special projects as assigned by the CFO, including data gathering and report preparation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all administrative functions.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2 years of experience in an administrative support role, preferably within a finance or corporate environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience with financial software or ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of discretion and integrity in handling confidential information.
- Familiarity with financial terminology and concepts is a plus.
