Dordt University is currently seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach a three-credit, in-person statistics course.
Responsibilities:
- Teach STAT 131: Introductory Statistics
- Articulate the university's Reformational Christian perspective and mission within the context of teaching, in alignment with the curricular design set forth in The Educational Framework of Dordt University.
Qualifications:
- An earned master's degree or equivalent experience in mathematics, statistics, or a related field is required, with demonstrable coursework in related content and pedagogy. A commitment to excellence in college-level teaching is required.
- Acknowledge Christ's lordship over all of life and express an active Christian commitment, which shall include identification with a local organized church that holds to beliefs that are consistent with the mission of the university.
- Oral and written communication skills and interpersonal abilities that enable effective collaboration with students, faculty and staff, community members, and other professionals.
