The School of Human Services at UNT Dallas offers two undergraduate degree programs. The Bachelor’s degree in Human Services Management, and Leadership (HSML) and a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development and Family Studies (CDFS) prepares students for work in the social service sector. We offer both professional and academic certificates.
Position Overview
The University of North Texas at Dallas invites applications for the position of Adjunct Instructor to teach in Department of Counseling and Human Services.

Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s Degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching area including, Social Work, Human Services, Rehabilitation Counseling, Nonprofit Management, Mediation, Counseling Education, Public Administration, or related educational programs.
- Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills.
- State certification or licensing in the subject matter where required.
- Experience in online/hybrid instruction
- Proven teaching excellence in undergraduate instruction.

Preferred Qualifications
- PhD. In Social Work, Human Services, Rehabilitation Counseling, Counseling, Psychology, Nonprofit Management, or related educational program
- Terminal degree in the specific discipline or a closely related discipline
- Demonstrated experience teaching undergraduate courses.
- Significant pedagogical knowledge and understanding in course development desirable.
- Academic experience working on a campus with culturally diverse students, staff, and faculty.
- Knowledge of Counsel on Standards for Human Services Education (CSHSE).
- Bilingual skills a plus.
