About the Job
Dordt University seeks an adjunct faculty member to serve as a private vocal instructor for music majors and minors as well as students holding a vocal music scholarship. The primary responsibility will be teaching 30-minute weekly lessons for 5-10 voice students. Other responsibilities will include arranging for student performances at Dordt and NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) events, adjudicating private lesson exams for all department voice students at the end of each semester, and communicating with other adjunct vocal instructors and the Director of Choral Activities about student progress. A master's degree is required, as is commitment to teaching Christianly from the perspective of the Reformed faith.
