About the Job
Concordia University Chicago (CUC) invites applications for part-time adjunct faculty for the Division of Nursing in the College of Health, Science, and Technology. Part-time teaching opportunities are available throughout the academic year. Applicants with expertise that matches course scheduling needs will be contacted for an interview.
Current opportunities include teaching the following courses:
- Pediatric Nursing clinical
- Psychiatric Nursing clinical
Minimum Requirements:
- MSN required
- Current RN license or eligibility for licensing in Illinois
- Five years of experience in clinical nursing practice
- Three years of experience in nursing education or equivalent hospital education experience
- Knowledge of state and national program accreditation
- Demonstration of progressive roles and experience in teaching and learning
- At least one year of teaching experience in a baccalaureate level program with curriculum development and assessment preferred
- Evidence of self-development through participation in continuing education offerings, advanced study, scholarly pursuit, and/or professional and clinical activities
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position
- Candidates must support and be committed to the mission and identity of Concordia University Chicago, a university of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod (LCMS).
