Acute Patient Care Technician

The Acute Patient Care Technician (PCT) will monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment. This includes measuring and recording stats, initiating cannulation, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup. PCTs have a combination of technical skills and genuine passion needed to develop deep relationships with patients and improve their quality of life.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have a desire to care for people and be comfortable working around blood and needles.
• Experienced PCT's must have current certification from BONENT, NNCC, NNCO or if applicable other state approved certification.  PCT's without prior experience must be certified within 18 months of hire.
• Experienced PCT's are required to have current BLS/CPR certification.  PCT's without experience must obtain BLS/CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
