Your Role:
Join us as an Actuarial Reserving Manager and play a pivotal role in our mission. In this position, you will lead a dynamic team, providing guidance, training, and support to Actuarial Analysts while fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting monthly booking and quarterly reserve reviews, ensuring clear communication of results and analysis.
- Developing and maintaining robust business relationships through project development initiatives.
- Overseeing human resources functions such as recruitment, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities for team members.
- Reviewing and supervising the work of Analysts and ensuring timely project completion.
- Managing and mentoring Actuarial Supervisors and/or Analysts within the department.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or graduate degree in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, or related field.
- ACAS (Associate in Casualty Actuarial Society) designation.
- Minimum of 5 years of post-bachelor experience in statistical and actuarial analysis for personal lines insurance (or 3 years with a graduate degree).
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and motivational skills.
- Ability to coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Salary Information:
The national average salary range for this position is $151,000 - $168,000, with variations based on location. Our salary ranges are calculated based on county of residence, with the full range across all states we hire in being $136,000 - $201,000. We offer an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus of up to 15% of eligible pay through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
Location:
This role is open to remote candidates anywhere in the United States, except for Hawaii and Alaska. Candidates must have authorization to work indefinitely in the US.
