Actuarial Analyst - Macpower Digital Assets Edge

Job Summary: This individual contributor will support the assessment of financial risk, review actuarial documentation, and assist in product line evaluations and modeling. The primary focus will be on preparing filings and documentation for the Washington Individual and Small Group markets, reporting to the Manager of Actuarial Services.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Foster self-development and effective relationships through collaboration and feedback.
• Complete assignments by applying knowledge, following procedures, and collaborating cross-functionally.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing actuarial documentation for accuracy.
• Support product line evaluations through financial analysis and documentation.
• Conduct actuarial research with limited direction.
• Analyze financial risks using basic actuarial methods.
• Translate actuarial concepts for non-technical partners.
• Learn and assist with actuarial modeling and data validation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics or related field and two years of actuarial experience.
• Passed at least 4 actuarial exams toward ASA or ACAS certification.
• Strong project management skills and ability to work independently.
• Solid technical and analytical skills as an actuarial student.
• Experience in constructing rate filings is a plus.
