Responsibilities Activity Director and Social Services Director

• Plan, organize, and lead engaging activities that enhance the quality of life for our residents.

   

• Create and maintain an activity calendar, ensuring a variety of programs that meet residents' physical, social, and emotional needs.

   

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.

   

• Conduct assessments to determine residents' social needs and develop individualized care plans.

   

• Provide emotional support to residents and assist with resolving concerns or challenges.

   

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure residents’ overall well-being.

   

• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations related to activities and social services.

Qualifications Activity Director and Social Services Director:

• Certification as an Activity Director (required).

   

• Experience in planning and coordinating activities, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting.

   

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with residents, families, and staff.

   

• Knowledge of resident rights and care regulations.

   

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment.

   

• Passion for improving the lives of residents in a caring and professional manner.
