Overview:
The Activity Director is responsible for planning, implementing and leading their assigned activity area in a small group setting. They are responsible for providing grade-level appropriate activities and incorporating the weekly theme to their activities.

Responsibilities:- Provide instruction, supervision and safety of all campers, staff and volunteers in program area.
- Plan and implement various age appropriate activities and ensure adequate supplies and resources are available.
- Supervise and participate in all assigned aspects of the campers’ day which includes but is not limited to: camper check-in and check-out; meal times; activities and extended am and extended pm duties as assigned.
- Attend and participate in two weeks of Leadership Staff Training and General Staff Training.
- Incumbent must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to lead and instruct a group of campers in their assigned activity area.
- Have knowledge in safety, care of equipment, inventory, skill instruction, and progressive age appropriate programming.
- Be able to identify age and grade level characteristics of campers.
- Previous camp experience or experience working with groups of children is preferred.
