Mirabella Seattle is seeking a caring and passionate Activities Director to help lead our programs that serve our residents!
Mirabella Seattle, a part of Pacific Retirement Services, is a beautiful not-for-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) located in downtown Seattle. We have a 46 bed SNF (5 star rated) located on the second floor and accept Medicare, HMO, and Private Insurance patients. Outside of our SNF and AL floors, Mirabella is home to more than 290 IL residents who enjoy a high-end resort style living experience.
Work Schedule: Full-Time (Monday-Friday)
Wage Range: $77,969-$81,000 /yr DOE
About the Role: The Activities Director will manage all aspects of the Skilled Nursing Facility, Memory Care and Assisted Living's activities including scheduling, safety, staffing and compliance with state regulations. This position will be responsible for ensuring that the quality of life for all residents will be enhanced through activities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a social or recreational program within the past five years, one year of which was full-time in a patient activities program in a health care setting OR Occupational therapist, art therapist, music therapist, dance therapist, recreation therapist or occupational therapy assistant certification is required.
- Familiarity with all state policies and regulations regarding Health Care Center operations as well as state regulations in regard to activities requirements is required.
- High decision-making skills involving the analysis of the facts of a situation and the determination of what actions should be taken within the limits of standard procedures.
- Valid driver’s license and meet Pacific Retirement Services' (PRS’s) Employment Driver Guidelines.
- Current and valid CPR/AED and First Aid certification is preferred.
