We are seeking Activities Coordinator to join our community committed to delivering outstanding service to our residents. As a Activities Coordinator, you will impact the lives of our members and residents through leading daily enriching activities. Join our team and inspire happiness in the lives of others!
What You'll Do:
- Develop, plan, and implement social, recreational, spiritual, and educational activities for residents.
- Encourage and assist residents in participating in activities, taking an active role personally.
- Facilitate parties, games, trips, and departmental activities throughout healthcare.
- Manage activity supplies, ensuring orderliness and cleanliness of activity areas.
- Participate in Resident Council and encourage resident leadership.
- Efficiently manage program resources and provide budgetary information to management
What You'll Bring:
- High School Diploma (or G.E.D.) required.
- Must meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Has a minimum of two (2) years prior related experience in social or recreational programming in a patient activities program in a health care setting; or
- Has successfully completed an activity director training course approved by the National Certification Council for Activity.
- Minimum one-year related experience preferred, or appropriate formal education or Buckner training.
- Working knowledge of how to plan and implement community service programs.
- A friendly attitude and a servant's heart.
