Activities Aide - Shore Gardens Rehabilitation and Nursing Center

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Activities Aide for residents who suffer from alzheimer's and dementia to join our team Monday-Friday 7am-3pm. The ideal candidate will interact with the residents to provide support and compassion to make a meaningful impact to brighten their day. 

Responsibilites 

-Run the assigned activities programs on a daily basis, monitor residents at all times.

-Monitor behavior during daily activites and communicate to nursing as needed.

-Cleans up after each activity, leaving the room clean and neat.

-Transport residents to and from activities as needed.

-Invites and encourages all residents to attend programs as appropriate.

-Previous long-term care experience preferred but not required. 

-Assists the Activities Director in the planning, development and implementation of resident activities.
