ITA is seeking an Acquisition Specialist / Technical Writer to support the Ship Design Team for the U.S. Coast Guard in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities:- Plan, develop and execute acquisition related policies, processes, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the USCG Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC) Acquisition Program, including internal/external business processes, contract requirements and financial requirements at all stages of the acquisition program’s life cycle.
- Deliver high quality documentation, paying attention to detail and summarizing complex technical concepts in an easily understandable format.
- Develop high-level reports and presentations for briefing Program Managers and senior leadership on all elements of acquisition program performance with quantitative analysis and
recommendations.
- Qualified candidate(s) shall have a minimum of ten (10) years experience supporting Major Acquisition Program(s) (DHS/USCG Level 1, DoD ACAT I or equivalent) in a management and program analyst role.
- Qualified candidate(s) shall have experience in DHS/USCG Level 1, DoD ACAT I or equivalent acquisition document development life cycle.
- Qualified candidate(s) shall have experience with development of policies and procedures, SOPs, and similar program documents.
- Qualified candidate(s) shall have experience developing, implementing, and testing SharePoint sites and creating and managing workflows in SharePoint.
- Qualified candidate(s) shall have experience in requirements development, implementation, and testing of
automated CDRL processing tools. - Qualified candidate(s) shall have experience in the planning, developing and execution of acquisition efforts to complete acquisition related documents, internal/external business processes, contract requirements and
financial requirements at all stages of an acquisition programs life cycle, in accordance within the Major Systems Acquisition Manual (MSAM)/DOD 5000 series framework. - Qualified candidate(s) shall be proficient with MS Office products specifically Access, Project, Visio, InfoPath, and NINTEX.
- Active Secret clearance
