Responsibilities
OBXtek is staffing for an Acquisition Specialist, Sr. - Business Operations (SSC/CGU – GPS User Equipment) for the United States Space Force (USSF) Space Systems Command (SSC) Acquisition Support Services contract to support Military Communication (MilComm) & Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT) Directorate. This contract provides the MilComm & PNT Directorate with a broad range of acquisition capabilities to execute effective and responsive integrated program management of space-related research, development, production, operations and maintenance, and lifecycle acquisition activities. Position is contingent upon contract award.
This position interacts with Directorate leadership. The individual will provide support to Space Force customers in El Segundo, CA. Key duties associated with this position include:
- Serves as a subject matter expert in the execution of routine business operations for the Directorate.
- Support the Business Manager by extracting program specific information, assessments, analysis, and reviews enabling program and technical acquisition artifacts to be integrated at the enterprise level.
- Use the combined program integrated master schedule to facilitate the management of cost, schedule, and technical performance of the Directorate’s portfolio.
- Provide detailed analysis, quantifiable supporting documentation, and thorough justification for all research, reviews, and assessments performed and include corrective action plans and recommendations to the Government.
- Provide the Government reports and briefs on how to implement policies, conduct independent program assessments, and conduct risk assessments for the portfolio.

Salary Range: $135,000 - $220,000k/year
Qualifications
US Citizen and possession of a current Secret Clearance
Required Qualifications:
- Masters Degree (MA/MS) in a related field, such as Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Engineering, Statistics.
- 10 or more years of extensive, relevant experience working on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program performing all functional duties independently and overseeing personnel in the same career field.
- Excels in advising, improvising, optimizing, and making thorough recommendations to Government Senior Leaders
- Expertise using MS Office applications and DoD, Air Force, and/or Space Force tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in business desired (Master’s Degree in an unrelated field requires an additional 2 years of relevant experience or relevant Professional Certification)
- APDP Level III or equivalent is desired.
