About the Job
Firebird AST is seeking an onsite TS/SCI with CI Poly cleared Acquisition Contract Specialist to support a U.S. Government client. This is for a pending contract. Contract award is anticipated to early 2025.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepares acquisition and contracting documents that reflect technical and operational requirements for Government approval
- Prepares Acquisition Requirement Package (ARP). The documents include service contract approvals requests (SCAs), PWSs, Statements of Work (SOWs), Statements of Objective (SOOs), labor category descriptions, Justification and Approval Documents (J&As), independent Government cost estimates (IGCEs) and quality assurance surveillance plans (QASPs), acquisition plans (APs) and acquisition strategies (ASs), and sole source justifications.
- Assists program analyst with preparing Acquisition documents in support of acquisition decision milestones
- Provide input in the proposal evaluation process, supports the post-award by preparing monthly status updates and funds expended to-date and variance analyses intended to highlight any significant issues requiring Government action.
REQUIRED
- Active DoD TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
- 8 years’ experience preparing acquisition and contracting documents within the federal government
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ATTRIBUTES
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals, reports, policy, legal documents, etc.
- Ability to prepare reports and presentations to company management and customer(s).
- Demonstrated leadership ability, strategic and innovative thinker, and passion for the mission.
- Ability to identify and solve problems.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in any field
CLEARANCE
- Active DoD Top Secret/SCI with CI Poly
