In this role you will provide high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care to a variety of animals, ensuring their health and well-being. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating medical conditions, performing surgeries, guiding pet owners on health maintenance, and collaborating with a skilled team to deliver exceptional patient care. You will also help develop and maintain a high quality; efficient and effective medical team, by fostering an environment of trust, teamwork and accountability by working in tandem with the Hospital Manager and reporting directly to the Regional Manager.
Position: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
Location: Fremont, CA
What You'll Do:
- Provide exceptional medical, surgical, and dental care to a variety of pets
- Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and other health conditions
- Offer preventative care and client education to promote pet wellness
- Collaborate with a compassionate team of veterinary professionals and support staff
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records

- Competitive salary: $130,000 – $150,000 (negotiable depending on experience)

What You Bring:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Valid state veterinary license (or ability to obtain one)
- Strong diagnostic and surgical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for helping animals and building relationships with clients
- DEA registration must be obtained and maintained.
- Five plus years of experience in a veterinary practice.
- Experience overseeing Veterinary Technicians and Assistants as well as other hospital or practice staff.
- Must demonstrate a desire to continue learning in veterinary care and participate in leading staff training.
