Job Summary:
Under the direction of Vista Care’s Controller, or designee, the Accounts Receivable/Revenue Cycle Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the accounts receivable and collections team.
Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):
- Ensures billing is completed timely and accurately, ensures correct payments are received in a timely manner and works with the operations team to address any billing/payment issues.
- Works with the Controller or CAO regarding cash flow reporting/needs.
- Works with the Accounts Payable and General Ledger team members to coordinate any shared information or reporting. Works in a team environment as a full team member supporting others as needed.
- Ensures that financial reports comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards.
- Prepares, records, verifies, analyzes and reports accounts receivable transactions, and posts customer payments on a timely basis. Ensures timely collection of cash receipts from payors, agencies and customers. Handles collection accounts that have escalated from the operations and or A/R colleagues.
- Maintains and reconciles accounts receivable ledger accounts, financial statements, and reports. Provides regular customer account status reports as well as A/R aging reports.
- Meets with the operations and billing teams monthly to work through any A/R and or collection issues.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
Supervisory Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):
Responsible for the training of new employees; planning, assigning, and directing work of the team, and providing performance feedback to individuals on the team. The Accounts Receivable/Revenue Cycle Supervisor will have consistent communication with the Controller and Chief Administrative Officer to monitor alignment of team goals and organizational processes.
Requirements
- Education and Experience
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, or related field, is preferred
- 3-5 years of previous Accounts Receivable and or Revenue Cycle experience preferred
- 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Strong attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- High level of organization and time management skills
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize
- Flexible, adaptable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- NetSuite experience preferred
- Additional Requirements
- Required to pass the WI BID and other background checks, upon hire
- Must have good interpersonal skills and consistently demonstrate effective decision-making abilities
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Physical Requirements – Requires repetitive manual and finger dexterity and eye- hand coordination; requires the ability to use all office equipment. Must be able to remain awake and alert for the duration of each shift, bend, stoop, push, pull, reach, twist, sit, and walk for periods of time.
- Visual, hearing, and communication requirements – Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range, with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing with all staff, other professionals, and individuals. Must be able to give and receive verbal and written instructions in English.
- Work location – Primarily office settings with varying degrees of background noise.

PAY:
$70,000-$75,000, depending on experience.
