We are on the hunt for a skilled and dedicated Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual who can hit the ground running, take charge of the Accounts Receivable department, and streamline our financial processes with the utmost efficiency. This position requires a combination of financial acumen, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the marketing industry.
Responsibilities:
As an Accounts Receivable Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing the daily operations of the Accounts Receivable department which includes invoice processing, payment processing, and collections.
2. Implementing and maintaining a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk.
3. Reconciling monthly activity, generating year-end reports, and fulfilling tax-related requirements.
4. Assisting with audits and special financial projects as required.
5. Managing a team of Accounts Receivable staff, ensuring they are adequately trained, and their work is regularly reviewed.
6. Collaborating with other departments to improve and streamline procedures.
7. Ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
8. Working closely with the management team to create budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
9. Using Great Plains software to manage financial transactions and generate reports.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Accounts Receivable Supervisor role should possess the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar role.
3. Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
5. Strong experience with Great Plains software and Netsuite preferred.
6. Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting and their application.
7. Proven ability to manage, guide, and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
8. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.
9. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
10. Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
